Steep climb in spots from the bottom. Not too bad from the top but requires 4 wheel drive to get within 3/10th of a mile from the south side. Elevation 7190 ft. Do not try this cache if you are not fit. No roads or trails within 3/10 of a mile as the CROW FLYS.

Another of the Big Rocks in Sweetwater County. This has a fabulous view of the Firehole area. Coming in from the South on a 4x4 road you traverse a burned area that is just covered with wild flowers. Well worth the trip.

Items in Cache:
Coleman Multi-tool
My pretty Pony
Florida keychain
Fish and Wildlife Service Keychain
Music from Lion King CD
Edward Abbeys Book. The Monkey Wrench Gang. Good Read/
Centris Wooden coin
Jackson Hole Pin.

Wanted to do this cache for a long time. Whenever traveling down firehole road, the ROCK, always urged me to take the hike upwards. I had the 4 wheeler out today and came up over the south to the cache. Found a small trail at the end of the road and drove within 300' of the cache. The cache location was as great as the other logs said. I wondered if I could make it back up the hill from the cache on my 2 wheel drive 4 wheeler. Made it, glad mrs wasn't with me. she would have had an anxiety attack. Thanks for the great caches. This was in good shape.

Clear, beautiful day. No wind!. This cache ranks as one of my favorites so far and also my first find of 2005. What a wonderful view of the Big Firehole area. I approached this cache from the North and treked .79 miles up a good incline to get to the area. Good workout!. Some snow on the northern slopes 1-10" inches and very little snow on the southern facing slopes. TOOK: wendover token. LEFT: small candle, toy soldier, Harley Owners Group patch. Thank you R.D.FOX for great cache! COYOTEUGLY.

What a view and what a hike.... I'm getting old! Took the Centris Geocaching Token and left a Search and Rescue card.

I was traveling through WY from Boise to Denver and thought I would do some caching along the way. I've been traveling through WY for a number of years, but this is the first time I have been able to explore the country. I found four other caches along 191 this afternoon and this was the last one on my list. I was getting late but thought I could hike in find the cache and get back out before sunset. I hiked in from Road 33 in about 45 minutes. I spent the next 45 or so minutes looking for the cache. I covered an area about 40 to 50 feet around the coordinates. I think I looked under every rock but couldn't find the cache. I would have spent a little more time looking but the sun was setting and I thought I better leave. Even though I didn't find the cache, I saw a gorgeous sunset as I was walking. This view was worth the hike!
Thanks.
