Was out on a day of caching on the 191 side of the Gorge and drove to within 200 feet with the Jeep. Wife and I spent an hour surrounding the area overturning everything within 75' of the rock, climbing as high as we dared and checking every hole & crevasse we could see...scared out a few varmints & found nothing. Hope it is still there somewhere for the next cacher to find 'cause we wont be out again this way for a while. We did have a great off road experience though and headed down the southwest side of the rock on the only road around only to find it peeter out at the top of a bluff - so being the off roader I am we went over the edge and down to the county road...not recomended to try without some experience but a ball nonetheless.

Had the 4 wheeler out today in the firehole area. Drove within 200' of cache. Came from the NW on a two track road, if that is what they call it. Traveled about 3 miles on it. Nice drive, great scenery. The cache location is well worth the effort to make it to the cache, whether you come up from the bottom or over the top. The cache is in great shape and the rock formation is as you said, another great Wyoming rock. Thanks for the great cache.

Nice view. I drove all around the road before I decided I wasn't getting any closer than .17 miles. Took the Dielsel Dump TB and left Winnie the Pooh.

Arrived just before dark to try to get sunset pictures but not much color tonight. I took the Jeep grand Cherokee within .17 of a mile up the two track and then walked up the hill. Actually a pretty easy hike if you go this way. I left a rubber spider and Diesel Dump Travel Bug and took the watch which I think I left on the ground near the cache so would the next cacher throw it back in the cache.

I really like the Big Firehole canyon area. It is majestic in its own beauty and I recommend Geo-Cachers to check it out!. Both Middle and Little Firehole canyons are equally majestic as well. You will find Rattlesnakes around the Flaming Gorge area so use caution. We parked about .42 miles from the Cache and walked up to the site as we needed the exercize. The weather was windy and sky was cloudy with just sprinkles of light rain. Thank you for this most wonderful Cache! TOOK: nothing LEFT: matches, pocket watch and candle.
