Cache is now a standard tupperware container. Take exit 99 I-80= Hwy 191 South. Head south to Little Firehole Rd = County Road 9 (gravel) to enjoy the scenic loop. There are several other caches in this area to enjoy also. Pull into area just about where road changes to pavement and intersects with paved road to Flaming Gorge. Plenty of secluded parking options here. A hike (150 yards or so) is required to get to cache. Moderately strenuous inclines involved hiking back up. May have to take a rest break and enjoy the view. Click on the "twisted juniper" photo link below if you can't find it first time out. Happy Hunting !!!!!!! |

TFTC, I was going to go fishing today, but it was too windy so I went geocaching. I like the caches where I actually have to hike a bit. Thanks again.

It was the end of the day........and we were halluncinating..and thought we saw a road..so we kept on trying to find the road...and guess what it was not a road but the top of the mountain range. But we persisted and we did find it..thanks for the beautiful hike...

Almost forgot that we had found this cache. Fortunately we took a TB from this cache and when we realized we had taken the TB, well, we knew we had also found the cache.
Guess that is what we get for being the Old People. Wonder how many other caches we have forgotten to log. ;o)
Thanks for the fun hike and find.
