This cache will get you to the end of the trail. There is a beautiful overlook out here and if you only stop for the Bear Trail cache, you will miss a spectacular sight. If you forgot something on your trip over, you may want to check this one out before going to the lodge to buy what you forgot. Congratulations to trailrunner & chuckhole for the FTF The cache is an ammo box, located west of the end of the trail sign by some 60 feet or so. Original contents include: First Aid Kit Deck of playing cards Eyeglasses repair kit Sewing Kit Pocket knife Flashlight with batteries Tweezers Emergency sleeping bag Tooth brush with tooth paste Emergency survival blanket Compass with whistle Sunblock logbook with 2 pencils Please no geo-trash, try to stay with items usable by campers. Checked and added additional items to cache on 14 July 2007. Cache is in good shape. |

Oh yeah, nice hike everytime I do it! Thanx for the cache. Now there's a little travel bug for someone to grab in case there is a need for an additional incentive to get there, although the view is well worth it.

What is there better to do on vacation than find some caches a long way from home.
This one was at the end of a good hiking trail. A lot of fun for me, my nephew had a little less fun considering he decided to take the walk in flip flops. oops.
Still a lot of fun. TFTC

Nice hike after a two day float on the Green. The view was great and the cache has a wonderful theme. I have taken some well deserved grief from the owners of a travel bug "Are We There Yet" that I now leave in this cache. I thought I had lost it but found it in an old daybag. After more than a year in captivity, it is now free.

This was quite the hot hike! The gathering thunderclouds were welcome for their shade. The view at the end was wonderful. Took geocoin.
