Starting at Flaming Gorge Dam, float downstream until you are ~2.87 miles from the dam. At the coordinates, on river right you will see a sandy beach. Beach your boat, proceed up hill, 10 yards, to a sheer rock face, turn left and follow the rock face uphill. Keep a sharp lookout to your right, as you work your way up the scree slope. You will see what looks like a fireplace/alcove in the rock at ground level. The geocache is a gray box stuffed up inside the alcove opening. |

We couldn't believe how many fish we could see just from the surface of the water. No wonder fishermen come here! TFTC TNLN

Have been in the Flaming Gorge area where we are participating in a family reunion and celebrating Papa Dikini's parent's 50th wedding anniversary.
Found this cache during our family float down the Green River to Little Hole.

Took a kayak class down the river today, looked for this one but didn't find. I noticed it has not been found since 8/06 is it still there? Are the coordinates still correct? Will try again next time we are down.
