If I would just read the entire description I could have saved about 5/8 of a mile of hiking. I did take a shovel with me as I remember that there was a mention of it being under snow, it was and that made it a little more work, the cache is in good shape.TNLN SL TFTH Dport

The road that forks to the north and south looked pretty muddy so I turned around about a mile from the cache. Will try later.

Found on this wonderful evening, on the way up we saw 20 head of Elk, alot of Antelope, including a fawn, coyotes watching the fawn, and one Deer. It was great, everything so green and plush. Didn't even use gps, tried to get earlier this year, but it was covered by 3' of snow. Thanks for bringing us here, good hide and cache-2knightriders. TN/LN/SL

Went to Three Patches and picnicked, but there was still way too much snow to search for this cache. (Part of the snow was still covering the fence.)
We'll come back in a month or so to try again.

Decided to try this one since I love Aspen Mountain and all the views from up there. I have a pretty good idea of where it's at. Probably right there where my GPS zero'd out. Only probably was a large snow bank right below me that was probably blocking my access to it. Will try it again in a few weeks when hopefully the snow will be gone.
