Sublette
County's Extension office is located at 621 South Pine in Pinedale.
Those of you familiar with Pinedale will recognize us as being in the
Mortensen-Stevens Building. The Sublette County Extension Office is part of the Mountain West Extension Area, which included Lincoln and Teton Counties. Within the extension area, there are four University Extension Educators, each assigned to lead a particular extension programming initiative, and with programming responsibilities for the entire area. The Extension Educators based in the Sublette County Extension Office is Eric Peterson. Eric works in the Sustainable Management of Rangeland Resources Initiative (SMRR). The Nutrition and Food Safety (NFS) Initiative position is open and in the hiring process. Until that person is hired, Stella McKinstry has agreed to work part-time in that initiative. Stella is in her 60th year with the Wyoming Cooperative Extension Service. Teton County hosts the office of Mary Martin, who works in the Enchancing Wyoming's Communities and Households (EWCH) initiative; and Hudson Hill in Lincoln County serves the Profitable and Sustainable Agriculture Systems (PSAS) initiative. Sublette County's 4-H Program Associate position is currently vacant, but Lynda Vickrey is serving as a temporary part-time 4-H coordinator. The 4-H Associate works in 4-H and Youth development exclusively in Sublette County. Click on the buttons to the left to learn more about us and the things that are happening.
