Not too bad, but a little chilly and windy. TFTC

Even though it was a hot day, I thought it would be an easy hike. I came in from the top and had to make a big circle following the established trail. I left following the river trail, the river trail also goes up over the mountain. Take plenty of water, I didn't. You don't have to look too hard, the geocache is visible while you are standing, no crawling, no lifting rocks.

This is a wonderful walk down the Green, much better than the trail. My wife and dog PJ had no trouble, but need some help to pin point. Try 40.54661 109.17837 and stay off the cliffs. This is a beautiful spot and a good find. TNLN

I was suprised to see that no one has posted a log or note for this cache since I found it a year ago. I wonder if it's still there? DO NOT be turned off by the five star terraine rating. It's nowhere near that hard a hike and it's a beautiful place.

[I have been to this site before in pre-caching days and I really didn't intend to hike in alone on a chilly snowy day but then the weather turned gorgeous about mid day and I was off on the trail while my husband fished. I wouldn't call this a five terraine cache even by the river trail. And there's an easier way in than along the river] Take the Little Hole Trail which begins by the entrance booth to the parking area. After you get up on the heights and past the headland and along the burned area take a track off to the right down to the river. [A young couple were camping at Stonefly but I just barged right in and told them what I was looking for a Geocache. They knew what that was. I used ScoobyM13's coords, which were right on and found the cache easily. My GPS said it was 40 feet away using the original coords. I removed an M-98 firecracker which didn't belong in a cache and left an Austrlaian coin and one of my Signature Photo Magnets.

I would rate this about a 3 for terraine and that's mostly for distance. FYI,I'm 70 years old. My pedometer said I walked 1.75 miles getting back to the parking area but I wandered around a bit in the burn area taking pictures. Thanks for the cache, I love this area. Husband caught five nice trout.
