I pulled into this area when it was dark and could tell then that this place was a very cool spot. I returned the next day and was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the rock formations in this area, take the time and camera when seeking this cache it is well worth it.The cache is a red coffee can painted painted white with a black lid, contains a log book and mechanical pencil, along with a couple of cold weather protectors. Please replace just as found. |

Thanks Dport. My kind of cache. Found some good photo ops that I will have to come back to shoot when the sky is not overcast. Keep putting up this kind of cache. Thanks.

FTF this one! 5:00 p.m. The description is apt! Beautiful rock formations, and a gazillion places a cacher could hide things! Quite a hike for my out-of-shape @ss.....the cache owner must work in the oilfield judging by the contents of this cache. I just shaved my head about a month ago, and went walking to this one without a hat. I don't know if the wind blows as hard all the time, as it was when I was at this site, but I was thankful for the baklava(sp) inside the cache! I traded a homemade pin for it. Nice area, i've never been down this road. There were a lot of oilfield trucks coming out.
