Our first cache hide in Wyoming. We just moved here a few weeks ago and had to get out and explore the beautiful Flaming Gorge. This is not in a fee area.

You can drive almost all the way in a car, a high clearance vehicle is recommended for the last little bit but you can take the short walk to it if you go in a car, or prove me wrong and take your car if you want! This is assuming the road is dry like it was when we placed it. If the road is wet/muddy/snowy, bump the terrain rating up accordingly.

Talk about some beautiful views of the gorge. We placed the cache on a beautiful November day. You're looking for an ammo can in a fairly obvious location. We were tempted to put it in a much more difficult spot nearby but lucky for you we wussed out.

Please take the time to cover the cache back up well, otherwise it will really stand out to muggles.

I travelled to this cache a couple days ago, but got my wires crossed with the Flaming Gorge Cache, which is an earth cache. I was standing ontop of the cache, but was looking for reference in the other cache. We made the trip back here today. The roads were great, and were able to drive withing 50 feet of the cache. Great location, but forgot to bring camera. Took TB and signed log. Cache is dry and in great shape . Thanks.

I hiked from the top of the hill down to the cache. Probably could have driven the truck down but decided I could use the exercise. Quite cold this morning with a cold wind. tftc tnln

Went out this morning to try to get a FTF, we did succeed, but went the looong way to cache site. Best to access near 28 mi. mark, good hike on a cool, but not to bad morning. Lora didn't mind going to cache, but took a little more effort getting back. Left ftf gift for next cacher, thanks for the hunt-2knightriders.
