A couple years ago major construction was going on out it the lonely desert outside of Rock Springs on BLM land. This 100 year flood control canal was built before the great development boom started in the area with new businesses and homes. The cache is in a pill bottle container with a log near the fenced off flood control area. BRING SOMETHING TO WRITE WITH to log the cache.

Nice hide. I almost gave up, but with my one cache a day goal, I didn't have many other close by options. It was cold, snowy, and dark (and the flashlight was left at home), but I got it!!

We looked for quite a while, in all the likely spots and came up empty but that was not unusual for today. You might check on this one, Todd. The last 3 cachers have come up short, not that it means it's gone but it might warrant a look-see.
