To find this cache, you'll have to take a trip on what just might be one of the funnest roads in the West. The best time to drive this route is early morning in the summer, when the local Highway Patrol are still getting coffee and donuts. You need to be on Highway 191, between roughly Rock Springs, Wyoming and Vernal, Utah. There are many places along this route that are extremely scenic, so bring your camera. You might want to allow some time to take the Flaming Gorge dam tour while on the hunt for this one, just to fill out the trip. I purposely put the cache in a spot where you can drive to within just a couple of yards of the hiding spot, because I ultimately hope someone will log an entry here telling us all about your trip there in your 911. The first to find this one can have a shiny new Porsche 911 that I stashed, albeit 1:87 scale. Please treat this little beauty as a sort of travel bug, and take it to your own "favorite Porsche roads". |

@14:56. Cache #2597.
Found on day 25 in the U.S. along with Elmbaek.
It was an exciting day when we came from the heat in the cold.
We also experienced a blizzard up in the mountains.
Thanks for the cache with Sincerely from Denmark

Made my mouth water for my old Honda CB900F. Something was lost driving it in the minivan. Why is the road so much smoother on the Wyoming side? Beautiful day, fantastic view. TFTC!

Passing by on our way to Flaming Gorge with our truck and travel trailer, hopefully will revisit this road in a Porsche someday. This would be a beautiful ride on a (pedal) road bike as well, although I suspect it is a little busy.
