The Snowy Range Chapter was formed in 1994 by the residents in the South Eastern part of our state. This chapter includes the towns of Cheyenne, Laramie, and Wheatland. Our membership count to date is 30 including members from Colorado. Our monthly meetings are held in Laramie on the fourth Monday of every month. Please contact for meeting place.
Snowy Range Chapter is currently working with the Forest Service to attend a certification class on the 2-man cross cut saw. These certifications will be helpful for doing their volunteer work on trails. The upcoming projects for 2007 are cleaning and maintaining the Douglas and Pelton Creek areas; building a bridge at the Pole Mountain area, and working with the Game & Fish in building water barriers on Sheep Mountain.
