Cloud Peak Back Country Horsemen of America was formed in 1992 by the residents in the Mid-Northern part of our state. This chapter includes the towns of Buffalo, and Sheridan. Our membership count to date is 42 with half of this count are family memberships and we also have members from Minnesota, South Dakota, Iowa, and California. We still meet 4th Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. Starting May, 2008, we will meet at 7:00 p.m. and the USFS building in Buffalo every other month, 1425 Fort St. Buffalo WY, 28234 and the alternating month we meet at Carrol Realty (conference room - use back door) 306 Main St. Sheridan, Wyoming 82801. Chapter is gearing up for the busy summer season of volunteer trail work
and Fun. Dean and Kandy Harrison continue to be Trail Crew Co-Chairs and
are working on a calendar for the summer. As of the last meeting, they
will have a National Trails Day weekend of work and steak fry. Another
overhead picket line will be installed at the Elgin Trailhead, and plans
are being made to help the Forest Service pack bridge materials out of
