Dear Gladys,
I am very happy that I am at home now.
I ironed all day and helped mama pick some strawberries.
I did not see you since I got home. "Good Night."
Last week on Thursday I went to Grandpa Rasps and I was going to see you but you went to Gresham. I was very lonesome and disappointed.
Last Tuesday I went there again and Violet tried to call you but you were not at home.
You went to the ball game.
I thought you would come back home about 8:00 or 8:30 and Violet tried to call you again. She called you four or five times.
I was very disappointed. I hope you will come tonight but it rained. I hope you will come tomorrow and we can go to the show. Last night I went to the show to see "Rosie of The Tenments." It was very good but it was very sad.
I wrote to Fred Thomson, Colleen Moore, Jack Holt and Rudolp Valentino for the pictures. If you want a picture of Fred Thomson and his horse Silver King, I will give you his address. If you do not know what to write to him, you can write:
Dear Fred Thomson,
Please send me a photograph of yourself and his horse Silver King.
I am very interested in your play. You are my favorite actor.
Yours Sincerely,
Mae
I have these three movie books.
I got a green dress last evening, which is the same as your dress.
I got six letters from boys and girls
I am very mad that I did not see you for a long time.
I think your family looks very bright
How is Iris?
Does she still go with Dan?
Violet went with the other boy. Lester gave up her, ha ha because she never accept his invitation.
His name is Donald.
Did you know that we had a puppy named Spot? We sold her because she always bother Jean.
There are many roses on a bush. They surely look very pretty.
Last week I had a very bad dream.
I dreamed that a bad man named Mr. Kelly. He is a friend of Mr. Dunbier, who lives in Omaha. When he writes letters, he cuts his finger and put his blood on the envolpe so some one will know him. He came to Shelby. He slept in Cora Maes house. He always tried to catch me. I hid in the drawer At last my dream was changed. It was very funny. I belonged to a club. The girls, who belong to club, fought with the buffalo and we won. It did not kill us. I wish I could not belong to club but it was too late because I am afraid that it might kill me. Violet told me about the bad man and Mr. Dunbier that made me dream.
It is raining all day.
I wish Lotties family could come to Shelby to visit us
This noon Jean broke a plate
I am holding her now. She is playing with my pen.
If you want to ask the other men or women for the pictures, I have many address, who play at the show.
You are my favorite cousin and I always have lots of fun with you.
I could not think of any more news to write.
With lots of love from a cousin of yours
Mae
